Batribox is the pioneering eco-organization for the collection and recycling of batteries in France. Created in 1999 and approved by the French government, it helps companies meet their legal obligations in terms of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), raises awareness of sorting, and encourages eco-design and re-use among its member companies. As a key player in the circular economy, Batribox combines environmental responsibility, innovation, collaboration and civic commitment to preserve the environment.

Batribox is the link between public authorities and companies that produce or market batteries. Created in 1999 on the initiative of battery, telephone and consumer electronics manufacturers, as well as trade federations and associations, we are structuring the industry to make it more sustainable and ambitious.

26 years of recycling
