Financial support to optimize collection performance

Batribox provides financial support to drop-off centers to encourage the collection of used batteries. Since 2022, this support has had 3 components.

Operating aid from the first collection. This annual subsidy helps cover the operating costs of our partner drop-off centers.
A financial incentive, linked to the increase in tonnages collected, to encourage development.
Support for communication, calculated on a per capita basis and offered once per local authority and per agreement, to encourage all communication initiatives targeting battery recycling.

By reducing costs and encouraging performance, Batribox enhances the efficiency of waste collection centers , while promoting the transition to a circular economy.

Optimized installation of collection equipment

Setting up an efficient collection system for used batteries at your drop-off centers is essential to facilitate their recycling. Thanks to the equipment supplied by Batribox, you can simplify the management of this waste while complying with safety standards. The equipment on offer ensures safe and convenient collection for users and your staff.

Choose an installation area
Place the drums on a pallet, away from sunlight and humidity, in a covered, flat area accessible with a pallet truck. If the area is not sheltered, ask Batribox for a drum cover or drum shelter.
Prepare the drum
Insert the plastic bag inside the drum.
Use a separate pallet to collect the fence batteries (alkaline and zinc-air). They should be filmed.

- The battery workshop
The only one of its kind in France, this innovative collection unit at SMICVAL Market features battery testers. Users can isolate batteries that are still usable, which are reused for light purposes, while used batteries are recycled.
- Local collection
From the distribution of mini-Batriboxes to local residents, to local partnerships with hypermarkets in Marseille and Martinique, local schemes are helping to make the last few metres to the collection points less difficult.

Containers suitable for landfill sites
- Metal drums: approved, with a capacity of around 300 kg, supplied with lid, strapping and plastic bag, to be placed on a half-pallet or pallet.
- Drum shelter: provides protection from the elements, enhanced visibility of the collection point, improved user experience, reinforced and repairable structure.
- Individual drum cover: designed for limited space, protects from bad weather, enhanced visibility, front hatch for easy stacking.
