Educating future generations about recycling
Every year, thousands of schoolchildren discover the importance of recycling through Batribox educational programs. By working with schools, we transmit sustainable values and raise awareness of the environmental impact of batteries.
Learning through commitment
Raising children's awareness today means preparing tomorrow's citizens to adopt environmentally-friendly behaviors.
Batribox offers free, innovative educational tools to help schools teach pupils good practice in sorting and recycling used batteries.
These materials, suitable for all levels, combine theory and practice: comic strips, practical fact sheets, posters for discussion and short, playful stories. They are designed to inspire children and help them become agents of change. For a more active commitment, children are also invited to take part in school challenges to collect used batteries.
Schools thus become ambassadors for responsible waste management.

Piles solidaires: Involve your students in an eco-solidarity adventure
Since 2015, the Piles Solidaires operation has been mobilizing primary and middle schools in France for a unique action. In partnership with theNGO Electriciens sans frontières, this initiative combines battery recycling and international solidarity.
Students collect used batteries to finance electrification projects in isolated areas, bringing light and education to communities in Africa, Asia and South America.
With over 990 schools taking part in 2023, Piles Solidaires continues to inspire students and teachers to work towards a more sustainable future.

Eco-Foot: combining sporting and environmental commitment
With Eco-foot, Batribox and the Ligue Grand-Est de Football combine sport and ecology in an original competition. Aimed at collecting used batteries, each year it mobilizes nearly 60 clubs and their young players around a dual challenge: preserving the environment and improving their sports equipment.
Since 2015, Eco-foot has collected over 50 tonnes of batteries, transforming ecological commitment into tangible benefits for clubs. Beyond the financial reward, the awards ceremony, the highlight of this action, celebrates the efforts of young people.
This competitive event promotes ecological responsibility in sport, while reinforcing the positive impact of clubs within their communities.
