Giving meaning to collecting batteries
Batribox combines recycling and solidarity by teaming up with associations to raise awareness of battery sorting and support high-impact projects. By mobilizing citizens and schools, the eco-organization gives new meaning to battery collection, making it a vehicle for environmental and human issues.
Collecting differently, for the planet and for people
For 26 years, Batribox has combined technical expertise, an educational approach, a spirit of innovation and support for meaningful projects. Committed to preserving the environment, the eco-organization is in charge of recycling used batteries (collection, sorting, processing), as well as raising awareness of the need to sort.
Batribox redefines battery collection by adding a civic and solidarity-based dimension to its environmental value. By going beyond the simple technical gesture, its initiatives raise awareness and mobilize associations, schools, individuals and companies around major issues: preserving natural resources and acting for others.
Each operation, such as 1 Battery = 1 Donation, energy for the Telethon! or Piles Solidaires, embodies this commitment.

To help medical research, every pile counts
Every year, in partnership with the AFM-Téléthon, Batribox runs a nationwide operation: 1 battery = 1 donation, energy for the Telethon! The principle is simple: every kilo of batteries collected is converted into donations to support medical research.
This initiative offers everyone, individuals and organizations alike, an opportunity to contribute to a dual cause: preserving natural resources by participating in recycling, and offering concrete support to the fight against rare diseases. By collecting batteries, participants become part of a chain of solidarity in which every gesture counts.
Over the past 10 years, this solidarity operation has recycled more than 60 million used batteries, and raised 376,600 euros for the AFM-Téléthon in its fight against rare genetic diseases.

Piles solidaires: when children change the world
Since 2015, the Piles Solidaires operation has mobilized students around educational and environmental projects.
The batteries collected finance sustainable development missions carried out by Electriciens sans Frontières, such aselectrifying schools or providing access to drinking water in isolated villages.
This educational adventure makes young people aware of their role as committed citizens, while making a real difference to the lives of local populations.
